Shared Lives Disability Sports Takeover Event - Melksham
Get ready for a day filled with free fun and inclusive sports activities at our Shared Lives Disability Sports Takeover Event!
As part of Shared Lives Week 2025, the Shared Lives team is hosting a free Disability Sports Takeover event.
Shared Lives is a social care service where adults with various support needs, such as learning disabilities or mental health challenges, live with approved carers in their own homes. These carers share their family and community life with the person they are supporting, providing care and support within a regular family setting.
This inclusive event is open to people of all ages with a learning disability, autism, a mental health diagnosis, long-term health conditions, or mobility impairments.
Attendees can enjoy a wide range of adapted and inclusive sports activities including wheelchair basketball, boccia, curling, inclusive dance, seated exercise, adapted cycling, and more.
