SEND Family Voices and Achieving for Children have produced a guide to reasonable adjustments in educational settings.
Working with schools, parents and young people, the guide explores best practice and includes real life examples offered by teachers and children and young people and their families from Kingston and Richmond around mobility, sensory issues, getting the work done, school trips and sports days, rewards and sanctions. It also explains how these work within the law and sit well with the idea of “I just want to be like everyone else”.
