Wiltshire Dyslexia Celebration Event
There has been a lot of work in Wiltshire in the field of Dyslexia and literacy difficulties. The good practice in Wiltshire schools supporting Dyslexia has been recognised widely, including organisations such as [The Jamie Oliver Group].
To celebrate this, Wiltshire Council is holding a Dyslexia awareness afternoon on Thursday 10th July 2025 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, at County Hall in Trowbridge.
As part of the event, there will be a talk about the Universal Screener, which is being piloted in Wiltshire alongside Aston University. This free screener will help identify strengths and needs in Year One, and will provide information about how to support next steps.
School staff, parents/carers and young people are welcome to attend this free event.
