Alabaré Development Centres

Alabare logo.JPG
Alabaré Development Centres offer vocational training and meaningful day activities to vulnerable adults with a variety of needs. They have two development centres in Wiltshire; Barford Training Centre in Barford St. Martin near Salisbury and Old Sarum Development Centre just north of Salisbury.

Both development Centres are fully accredited and deliver NOCN qualifications. These qualifications could help you gain the necessary skills you need to access employment, work experience or any other educational opportunities you may wish to pursue. They can work with you to develop an individual training plan for whichever area you'd like to pursue. You are welcome to attend as many training sessions as you like and their days are set out so that you can fit two sessions into one day. You can visit their Development Centres for as long as want to, but if you're interested in work place or training opportunities, they're on hand to help you with that too.

You can book placements directly by calling them at the centre on 01722 742298, or you can be referred through another agency, such as Community Mental Health teams or Community teams for people with Learning Disabilities. You can pay for sessions using your personal budget or other form of direct payment, private funds or with funding from the local authority. They also have a [website] for further information and/or email j.moore@alabare.co.uk.
