Salisbury Playhouse Relaxed Performances are specially designed for people who are on the autistic spectrum or have learning difficulties. They include:
- Extra staff to help with seating and access
- A more relaxed attitude towards noise and movement
- Extra wheelchair spaces
The Playhouse also provides carefully written social stories with every booking that can help you and your family prepare for the visit in advance. The social stories use pictures and simple descriptions to introduce the theatre building and explain what usually happens during a visit and what you might experience whilst watching the performance.
