GUL Outdoor Therapy Centre

God Unlimited (Gul), a Local charity has received £7600 of funding from The Postcode Lottery and Paul Bush Trust to expand its therapy centre in Shrewton.
Founded in 2006, Gul currently operates from its Elston Lane and Bustard Inn locations in Shrewton. Using its 14 horses and team of staff and volunteers, Gul currently helps over 130 people each week get into the great outdoors and interact with ponies and other people.
The receipt of funding means that Gul can now expand its current yard to offer a quiet place for those receiving therapy to get the help they need and to enable disabled users of its facilities to better access the site. As Part of this project the Paul Bush trush granted £2000 towards the installation of a flushing toilet, which is now in place and was officially opened on June 20th 2015.
Gul was assisted in the construction by the 3 Signal Garrison Rugby Team and a hoard of volunteers who had a great time digging the trenches and installing the sewage systems and eating bacon butties!

Update September 2015 - New Stable Club
As of 1st September 2015 GUL will be running an exciting Stable Club, for young people with mental and physical disabilities, on weekday evenings, 4-5pm at Riverside, Elston Lane, Shrewton, SP3 4HL.
The club will enable students to learn how to ride and learn how to care for horses and ponies. Students will be able to work towards both their riding and stable management ABRS tests, and there will be plenty of emphasis on having fun!
