Splashers
Splashers is the Bath Swim Therapy swimming sessions for Pre-school Children with special needs and their parent/carers. Sessions take place in a small warm water pool – so the water is nice & warm for both you and your child!
Sessions are led by a specialist physiotherapist who is able to teach you all you need to know about how to help your child, whatever their level of disability or special need so they gain the maximum benefit from being in the water.
Sessions are fun as games & activities are used to help the children to get used to the water & start learning to swim. They also provide opportunities for interaction with other children to help develop communication and social skills.
Splashers sessions are available in:
Trowbridge: Wednesdays 12.00 – 1.00pm in the Hydrotherapy Pool at Larkrise School,
Trowbridge BA14 7EB.

Get Wet Set
Bath Swim Therapy also run swimming lessons for children aged 5 years+ with special needs and their parents or carers.
Get Wet Set sessions are available in:
Frome: Tuesdays between 4.00 – 6.00pm at Harry's Hydro (Critchill School), Frome BA11 4LB.

Chippenham: Bath Swim Therapy are no longer able to run the session at the Starfish Hydrotherapy Pool at St Nicholas School, Chippenham SN15 1QF. Neptune Aquatics, which runs the pool, has a course on offer aimed at children with special needs. For further information, please click here
