Virgin Care - New Specialist Clinic for Children/ Young People

A new specialist clinic designed for use by children and young people across Wiltshire is now open.
The clinic at Hathaway Medical Centre on Middlefield Road in Chippenham will provide a specialist assessment and treatment centre for children and young people who use Virgin Care Wiltshire Children’s Community Services.
Children and young people can be seen for paediatric services, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, health visiting drop-ins and speech and language therapy at the centre. It will also house audiology services with special hearing test booths available so that children have full privacy when attending their appointment in the fit for purpose building.
As of July 2018, Wiltshire children will no longer need to travel long distances to be seen in specialist clinics in Bath and will be referred to the clinic in Chippenham – helping achieve commissioners’ goals of building a truly Wiltshire-focused service for children and young people.
