GP online materials for carers

The 12th – 18th June 2017 marks Carers Week, a national annual awareness campaign that recognises the vital contribution made by carers in the UK.

3 in 4 carers don't feel their caring role is understood or valued by their community and this year the focus is on building communities which support carers to look after their loved ones.

During Carers Week, NHS England South will be promoting the GP Online service to carers. They will be issuing press releases to local and regional media outlets across the South and combining this with social media activity on the @NHSEnglandSouth Twitter account.

In addition to this there are tailored GP Online materials for carers which have been developed by their national team:-

[An experience of accessing GP records] GP Online guides: “Giving employed carers access to your GP online services” and “GP online services for carers including young carers”. Easy Read guides will be available soon.
