Changes to Government Helplines from April/May 2015
As part of a decision to reduce the cost of accessing public services, from April 15th 2015, the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions has requested the decommissioning of primary benefit 0845 enquiry line numbers.
Primary benefit was the first of the enquiry lines to change, with a roll out to the remaining enquiry lines from May 5th.

Job Centre Enquiry Line new number from 5.5.15 is 0345 604 3719
DLA Helpline new number from 5.5.15 is 0345 712 3456
Social Fund Enquiries new number is 0345 603 6967
Carers Allowance new number is 0345 6084321
