Online performing arts sessions for ages 14-18 with a learning disability
About Blue Apple
Blue Apple Theatre was founded by Jane Jessop with Tommy Jessop in 2005 because many people with learning disabilities said they were isolated and lonely with no opportunity to take part in the performing arts.
Right from the beginning, the aim was to be ambitious, lift the ceiling of expectation and change the way the public see people with any form of learning disability.
Blue Apple is now recognised as one of the foremost theatre companies in the UK for people with a learning disability, performing and touring drama, dance, film and song locally, nationally and even internationally with partners in the Czech Republic, Poland and Italy.
Blue Apple changes lives by providing empowering, enriching opportunities, with a sense of purpose and belonging, where friendships are forged and people discover their skills and grow in confidence.
