SOMEHOW (SOcial, eMotional and mEntal Health service using technOlogy in Wiltshire) Project – Focus groups

Discussion sessions for parent carers in the Tidworth area June/July 2019

Wiltshire Council are inviting parents/carers of primary school children (aged 4-10 years) to attend a focus group discussion session, to gather feedback to help inform ideas for a project of digital service provision for primary-aged children who are presenting with social and emotional/mental health difficulties.

Lauren Jones from Wiltshire Council is the project co-ordinator and she is also a researcher for the Department of Psychology at the University of Bath.

The focus groups will take place as follows:-
Clarendon Infants School, Ordnance Road, Tidworth SP9 7QD at 10:00-12:00 on three Wednesdays: June 26th, July 3rd and July 10th 2019.
Please Note: You would only need to come along to one of these sessions.

During the sessions, Lauren would like to find out your thoughts on the project and would value your input to shape the development of digital service provision for primary school children with social, emotional and/or mental health difficulties. Focus groups will be audio-recorded with your permission and will last approximately two hours. Refreshments will be provided. Lauren Jones (project coordinator) will lead the sessions, and Trudy Srawley (Chair of Participation, Wiltshire Parent Carer Council) will help to facilitate the sessions.

If you would like to take part in one of these sessions, please find further details on the following information sheet and contact: Lauren Jones (Project Coordinator at Wiltshire Council) Lauren.Jones@wiltshire.gov.uk. Please confirm which dates you would be available to take part in.
