Home-Start South Wiltshire – Volunteers Needed

Home-Start Wiltshire offer support to families who have at least one child under 5 or are expecting their first baby. They are currently still offering phone support phone support, a listening ear to families who are feeling lonely, have lost confidence, or are suffering from low mood. Their volunteers are also supporting families who are struggling with managing children’s behaviour or experiencing family conflict. Find out more about their service [HERE]
Home-Start South Wiltshire are currently recruiting new volunteers and planning another training course for phone support volunteers. They hope this will open the opportunity out to more people who want to volunteer and enable them to help more families. They are particularly short of volunteers to the west and north of south Wiltshire and need volunteers to cover Amesbury, Bulford, Larkhill, Tisbury etc. Information about volunteering can also be found on their website: [Home Start Volunteering]
