Unique Creative Arts Network (UCAN) Bristol - Free Workshop October 20th 2018

UCAN Productions was founded in 2005 to address the lack of performance and creative arts-based activities for blind and partially sighted children and young people.

They are based in Cardiff, at Cardiff University School of Optometry and Visions Sciences, although they work throughout the UK. Their specialised programmes help to develop physical and vocal confidence, raise aspirations and promote individual abilities.

They exist independently, but successfully work in partnership with RNIB Cymru, RNIB, Disability Arts Cymru and Cardiff University, The School of Optometry and Vision Sciences, Wales Council for the Blind, Guide Dogs and most recently UCAN have been awarded a National Lottery grant to run workshops in Bristol with Vision West of England.

UCAN and Vision West of England are holding a FREE workshop on Saturday 20th October 2018, 2.00pm – 4.00pm in the David Baker Room, The Vassall Centre, Gill Avenue, Bristol BS16 2QQ.
